Have
you ever walked in a fashion runway show? If so when and what fashion show?
Yes. Seriously, too many to count at this
point. I can definitely say upwards of 200 shows. Mainly in Chicago, New York
and I’ve worked for a national fashion show tour.
What
do you dislike about the modeling industry?
I feel like don’t have time to dislike
anything about it. You have to choose to either sink or swim. You won’t always
be hot, but you have to stay inspired in order to keep inspiring. However, I
think the pace of diversity in fashion for Black and curvy models could speed
up a bit.
What
do you like about the modeling industry?
You can transform. It allows you to become
what other artist envision. You get to be an actress and your job is to
inspire.
What modeling genre(s) are you targeting?
Commercial print,
fashion runway, voice overs, film and tv.
Do you think there is value in having comp
cards? If so what value do comp cards provide?
Yes, because they
can show your range, and is a great, simple presentation, but a lot of times agencies
and casting directors still tend to want polaroids.
Are you represented by an agency? If so what
agency?
Right now, no I am
not.
What body part of yours attracts the most
attention?
My booty and my lips. I have a love/hate
feeling about that.
What would you like people to be attracted to?
My heart… and booty, lol.
What do you consider a great night on the
town?
A pair of killer heels that I can run all
night in and color stay lip stain. Then anything that involves great, charming,
well dressed people, music, art, dancing, good food and a guy I might want to
kiss.
Sleep or sex?
Sex!
Tell us a funny, but dirty joke.
Q: What’s 6 inches
long, 2 inches wide and drives women wild?
A: A $100 bill!
The person I would most like to meet
Myself in 10 years.
Can you cook? If so, what’s your signature
dish?
Oh God yes, I love to. Most requested is lasagna
but I love to make seafood.
What were you doing five minutes before this
interview?
Listening to music,
to help me get in my zone and probably “checking my makeup” aka, taking a
selfie, lol.
What is the most important issue in the world
today and why?
Educating the next
generations on how to get along with each other and create peace.
How old were you when you had your first kiss
and paint us the picture?
I was in the 4th
grade. I was the sheltered, smart and thick for her age, girl that obviously
wasn’t of “the hood” at a rough school. An older boy in 7th grade
kissed me on the back of the school bus, after defending me from a bully. He
laughed at me because I didn’t know what I was doing. Then he told everybody on
the bus I didn’t know how to kiss, which was his trick to keep the other boys
away from me. He was my boyfriend for all of 2weeks. Then kissed another girl.
When did you know you could be a model?
A group of friends
in h.s. dared me to hit the runway, during this model elite club I was making
the set design for. I was 16, already really tall and wore heels but hadn’t
thought about modeling. I killed it and fell in love.
A chill day; a glass of sweet red or Riesling
wine. On a live it up day, a Jameson and cranberry with 3 cherries.
If you were president what would you change?
Student loan system, educational system, racism
laws and consequences and give citizens voting rights on every aspect of the
government.
A person’s behavior or action that will put on
my short list.
Lying, being pessimistic or not reciprocating
my efforts.
Lights on or lights off?
Something dim, I want the best of both worlds
lol.
What is the biggest misconception about you?
That I’m a Diva in a negative sense. I think people
are initially intimidated by my passion and strong presence. When really I’m all
love and laughs.
Tell us something your parents don’t know
about you.
I’m determined to become a certified skydiver.
I went for my 30th birthday and I’m hooked! I have to jump 2 more
times before I can do it solo.
What is the most creative thing a guy has said
or done to approach you?
A guy I met (through a mutual friend and
talked to on social media) made me a compilation video of his favorite pictures
of me and music I liked. Paid my friend to secretly mail me my favorite flowers
for a week, leading up to my birthday. At was supposed to be a little bday
dinner with my friends, they played the video and the guy asked me out at the
end, but only left his number. I had to call him to find out who he was after
my friends assured me he wasn’t crazy. It was really sweet though, he put a lot
of effort into it.
If money was not an issue what would you be
doing?
Sitting back, half
naked on a sunny beach somewhere exotic, sipping a mojito, eating jerk chicken,
managing my businesses from a laptop and watching my kids play.
What’s your fetish?
A good booty and leg massage with kisses too. Oh and
play in my hair, #teamnatural lol.
