New Orleans Fashion Week (NOFW) 2015 took place at the Board
of Trade building. DaShoot Spotlight was
on location to capture the runway shows from Mar 25-27. DaShoot Spotlight normally covers the Chicago
fashion and runway scene; however, once we found out that New Orleans had been
hosting a fashion week for the past 5 years we figured we needed to come down
and see what NOFW offered.

After further research we found some interesting information that
really caught our attention. During the few short years NOFW has played a part
in career advancement of a few models and designers. NOFW has produced New York and Paris fashion
week models, America’s Next Top Model and Project Runway designer. So, is NOFW on to something…I would say yes.

NOFW has a very bright future and I only see things getting bigger and better. The Southern Fashion industry has some very talented designers and strong modeling talent. Even the runway practice was well organized. The lighting crew did an excellent job lighting the runway which often times gets overlooked or is a last minute consideration. NOFW really did a nice job showcasing the local designers.
